A few Image Manager Features (Viewer and Editor):

  • Image Manager now supports RAW formatted images from 385 models of camera.

    The Supported Models per Make are as follows:

    1. View, Edit and Save:
      JPG, TIF, PNG, TGA, TIF, BMP, PCX, WMF, EMF, ICO, CUR, PXM, WBMP, JP2, J2K, AVI, WMV, MPEG.

    2. View and Edit Camera RAW:
      (RAW, CRW, sCR2, CR2, NEF, PEF, RAF, X3F, ORF, SRF, MRW, DCR, BAY, DNG (Digital NeGative format)

    3. Now also supports the following formats:
      BIE, JBG, JBIG, PCD, DICOM, CUT, AVS, CIN, DOT, DPX, FITS, FPX, HDF, MAT, MIFF, MTV, PALM, PCL, PICT, PIX, PWP, RLA, SGI, SUN, SVG, TTF, VOCAR, VIFF, XBM, XCF and XPM

    4. Automatic Unique RAW Profile Option for every compatible Digicam RAW Sensor type. Meaning that for every model of every make of camera that produces RAW images, there is an automatically created and independently adjustable color balance profile applied when the image is loaded.

    5. Auto-Orientation of images with EXIF tags (ie: JPGs, Digicam RAWs, and TIFs)

    6. Automatically Scroll through images using Auto-Display Folder Images. There is a control dialog to adjust display duration and direction.

    7. Drag and Drop any compatible Image even from Explorer

    8. Zoom and View Modes, including view the EXIF Preview Image

    9. Image Properties, including EXIF and GPS data from digital cameras

    10. Batch Conversion of: DPI, Size, and Types or Formats (eg: convert a folder's JPG's to TIF's, etc).

      Now with the ability to make color adjustments to all the images, such as:
      • Color Levels (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta),
      • White Balance (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta),
      • Color Intensity,
      • Hue,
      • Saturation,
      • Threshold (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta),
      • Equalisation (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta),
      • Contrast (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta),
      • Shadow Contrast,
      • Sharpness,
      • Color Cast,
      • Convert to Greyscale and
      • 5 Rotate options.

    11. Adjust Image (8 dialogs) with full-screen preview, including adjustments for:
      • Color Levels,
      • White Balance,
      • Color Intensity,
      • Hue,
      • Tint,
      • Saturation,
      • Threshold,
      • Equalisation,
      • Contrast,
      • Shadow Contrast,
      • Brightness,
      • Lightness,
      • Gamma, etc
      • Now with the ability to Recall the Last Used Settings at the press of a button.
      • Now also with the ability to Save the Setting to Use in the Batch Conversion.
      • Radial Distortion and Chromatic Aberration.

    12. White Balance Adjustments (3 options)
      • Auto,
      • Mouse Click Selected using a color on the image, and
      • Dialog to select any of 16 million colors to use as a White Balance.

    13. Convert to (13 options):
      • Black and White (4 options),
      • Negative,
      • Greyscale,
      • RGB Greyscale dialog,
      • Desaturated (2 options),
      • Colorized Greyscale dialog,
      • Sepia (3 options)

    14. Rotate:
      • +90 degrees
      • 180 degrees
      • -90 degrees
      • Arbitrary, any angle to 1/100th of a degree, using a dialog,
      • From a Drawn Angle, using a dialog.
      • From a Drawn Angle with Crop, using a dialog.

    15. Flip (4 options), also Flip and Mirror Selection.

    16. Fade Images to certain colors

    17. Remove and/or Combine and/or Swap RGB channels.

    18. Edge Effects:
      • Borders
      • Fade Edges, and
      • Inner Shading, and
      • Outer Shadow

    19. Change the Size, Proportion and Resolution of an image.

    20. Zooming options:
      • Mouse or Scroll-Wheel,
      • Size to Window,
      • View Actual Pixels, and
      • View as Print Size
      • Image Magnifierto zoom in on a part of the image!!

    21. Print Preview, Print Setup, Direct Print and Print a Selected part of the Image

    22. Selection options for Editing or Adjusting part of an image, as follows :
      • Rectangle and Square
      • Rounded Rectangle and Square
      • Circle and Elipse
      • Lasso, to follow color edges
      • Free-form
      • Magic Wand - Closed Polygon, Surrounding Area, and All Matching Pixels, with Tolerance Adjustment
      • Custom sizes, adjustable down to a pixel of accuracy
      • Point-by-Point with points removal capability.

      • Fit Text to Path,

    27. Transition Effects (163 random effects) to vary the way an image is displayed as it loads

    28. Remove Color Cast option to fix up poor quality images with a dominant color bias.

    34. New Speed-Keys feature that shows all the most used image adjustments on 1 small dialog. All the adjustments can be changed and then used immediately with, or without the dialog open.

    35. Now with an option to Log Image Changes to a separate file. All functions that change an image, including the Batch Conversion, can write to the log.

    37. Scanner / Camera Acquisition (if the camera software allows it)
